Back at the end of July, I set out on a 1,500 mile road trip with the Brit. The mission: To drive my beloved ’99 Honda CR-V nicknamed Enrique back to my parent’s house in Texas, along with all of my remaining possessions. In only 2.5 days.
It was a fantastic drive through the desert. Even though we rushed through it, we managed a pit stop at the Pima Air & Space Museum and an overnight in quirky Marfa, Texas, where we visited the “Prada Marfa” installation just outside of town. (Sidenote – Marfa I’m definitely coming back to explore some more!)
The most fun part of the trip was documenting it in the form of one. epic. time-lapse. We attached a GoPro to the hood of Enrique and set it to capture a photo every minute for the entire time we were driving. Every time we stopped, we took a picture in front of the car. I edited everything together and this is the result! Enjoy.

The Prada Marfa art installation just outside of Marfa, TX.

The straightest, longest, most empty road the Brit had ever seen. About 45 minutes north of Marfa, somewhere near Big Bend, TX.
