Happy Sunday everyone!
I’ve spent most of this week working on blog posts and freelance articles, building a website for a friend, editing videos and working out what my plans are to expand this site. I’ve been more productive than I’ve been in months!
It’s amazing how much work a digital nomad can get done in Chiang Mai. I totally get why it’s the number one place in the world to work online from. It’s unbelievably cheap, full of great cafes and co-working spaces with killer wifi, and there are so many other nomads to network with. I’ve met some great new friends and have learned a lot about building a location-independent business.
But as always, I needed to dedicate at least some time to adventure, because, you know, that’s the point of it all! On Thursday, I headed to Chiang Rai, complete with a visit to the Golden Triangle, the northernmost point in Thailand, and the epic White Temple, one of my new favorite sights in the world. I even popped over on a boat to Laos for 20 minutes, just to say “hi” to another of my favorite countries……and drink a Beerlao.
And yesterday I checked out the awesome Elephant Nature Park. This place rescues and rehabilitates elephants that have been abused and mistreated in tourist camps and illegal logging activities. It’s such a positive and ethical way to interact with these gentle giants in Thailand, and I highly recommend it if you’re going to Chiang Mai.
I’m actually a bit sad to leave this great city behind on Tuesday, but I’m also really pumped to see my 27th country – Vietnam! Noodle soup, here I come.
Have a fantastic week everyone!

Do not bring me any snake whiskey home! But anything elfie related is great…something about them that makes me so happy!
They really are some of the best animals on earth. So gentle and graceful while being so big!
Did you get to try the Chang Mai specialty dish, Khao Soi?
I did! I tried it a couple times actually. I love it, as long as they use chicken meat without the bone. I had one that had a full chicken leg and wing in the soup and it was reallllly messy to eat.
