If you celebrate it, I hope you’re having a very Merry Christmas! Last night my family and I celebrated with dinner and exchanging gifts here in Texas. I got some great new sneakers and some fun new travel stuff, which I had to quickly pack into my bag, because……
I’m leaving for Thailand today! Woohoo!
I’m at the airport, about to board a flight to Tokyo, fly 14 hours, get my bag, go through customs, exit the airport, enter it again, check into another airline’s flight to Bangkok, fly there, land, sleep four hours (in the airport), then get on the first flight out to Phuket to finally meet up with my friends to board our yacht for Yacht Week Thailand.
Whew, I’m exhausted just typing all of that. I hope I put on enough deodorant.
I cannot wait to get back out there, to seek out some new adventures in 2016 and spend my first full year traveling the world full time. It’s been a fantastic last few months since I gave up my job to travel, but now it’s time to get serious about making it sustainable, whatever it takes.
I’ll be in the Thai islands for a week, then spending a couple weeks in Chiang Mai, before heading to Vietnam for a month, followed by a few weeks in Myanmar. It’s going to be an action-packed next couple of months, and I’m so pumped!
Wanna join me? I promise you there will be fun stories, some solid adventure inspiration and some stupidity involved! Follow along here on the blog, sign up for my monthly newsletter, or like my Facebook page. Keep up, get inspired, and make 2016 the most adventurous year of your life too!
I hope you’re enjoying yourself, wherever you are in the world. See you in another hemisphere!
