Happy Superbowl Sunday from Bali!
I arrived here in Sanur on Wednesday night and have spent rest of the week lounging by the beach, drinking cocktails and soaking up the steamy Bali air. Yesterday I went diving off of a nearby island called Nusa Penida, and was super impressed with the vast array of coral and sea creatures Bali has! Much better than I found in Thailand. I definitely need to fit in another dive or ten before I leave here…
Right now, I’m huddling inside my hotel room, avoiding the rain and getting some last bits of bits of work done before my brother Nick arrives in a few hours. I am so excited to explore Bali with my little bro – we’ve never traveled alone together and he’s never been to Asia before, so it will be a fantastic week of discovery ahead!
Which, of course, we’ll start by watching the Superbowl, which is actually showing here in Bali tomorrow……at 6:30am. It’s going to be so weird watching the big game early on a Monday morning, but that’s the magic of time zones. (And in case you’re wondering, we both think the Panthers will win, but I’d love to see a Denver upset…)
Have a great week and may the best team win!

Okay so first of all, love the stories and their casual feel. Second of all, I think your photos are really great and complement your stories really well. Third of all, I love how your blog isn’t full of painfully long writing. Lastly, this will probably be the only blog I actually keep up with. Love it.
You’re too kind! Though I am definitely guilty of painfully long writing if you poke around a bit more. 🙂
