Greetings from chilly Grapevine, Texas! This last week at home with the fam has been fantastic, but I have to admit it’s been fairly adventure-free. Except for an afternoon spent seeking out what I heard were the best tacos in Dallas and tail-gating at the Cowboys game yesterday, I barely took out my camera this week. I did however manage to snap a few photos of the family dogs and my mother’s as-always fantastic Christmas decorations, so enjoy!
I can’t believe I only have 5 days left here – on the 25th I leave for Thailand and 3+ months of adventures in Asia. I’m excited to get back on the road, but I do feel a bit bummed about leaving Texas behind. I love spending time with my family, but I also love traveling and being out on my own. Finding the right balance between the two in this life of full-time travel is a top priority for 2016!
Have a fantastic week!

Our family Christmas tree!

The tacos at Resident Taqueria in Dallas really are some of the best I’ve ever had!

AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. We had a great time at the game last night, just wish the Cowboys hadn’t screwed it up.

My brother’s dog Ninja freaking loves this ball.

This is Hermoine Granger, the dog I gave my mom two years ago.
