Hola amigos! I’m back in Mexico, currently sitting on a beach in Tulum (for reals) drinking a Corona and kicking off a week of sun and cerveza with the Brit. It’s only the second time ever that I’ve missed Thanksgiving back in Texas, one of my favorite holidays, but I can’t think of a more amazing place to pass the holiday week if I can’t be with my family back home!

In the last week, I split my time between three different countries – San Ignacio in Belize, Flores in Guatemala, and now back to the Yucatan. How awesome is that!?! I’m feeling like giving lots of thanks to the universe for allowing me the chance to live the life of adventure that I’ve been dreaming of for so long.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to see if I can peel the Brit off his sun lounger and convince him to go diving. It’s bull shark season here in Mexico, and I’m dying to try to catch a glimpse of them! (Shhhhh, don’t mention the shark part to him.)

For my American friends – have a very happy Thanksgiving! Everyone else, enjoy your week, and maybe give some thanks just because.
